ahh heroes arent hard to find was my first comic shop i ever got the chance to go to. Then years later i found out about the con and iv been able to go the last 4 years but unfortunately i may have to work the same weekend as the con i get so bummed out when it gets brought up on the show haha but i rely hate i might not get to meet you guys and show my appreciation for the awesome show you all put together but ill be looking forward to the hero tapes so i can feel as if i was there THANKS!!!!!

Listening to the Heroes Con episode 855 and it's making me want to attend the show. I'm vacationing in Myrtle Beach, SC that week and I would like to stop in for at least 1 day on my way back to TN. Went to Summit City last weekend and the con bug has bit me.

Join Jimmy Aquino and representatives from COMIC NEWS INSIDER, COMIC GEEK SPEAK, COMIC RELATED, INDIE SPINNER RACK as they discuss the state of the art of podcasting – a growing and vital tool that all of fandom has embraced.

This will (hopefully) be different than other podcasting panels, in that it's an open quorum of sorts where we can all exchange ideas, talk about podcasting, etc. Whether you have a podcast, are looking to start a podcast or just listen to podcasts, we want you there. And it's not limited to comics podcasting. We want to use Heroes Con as a testing ground for this kind of larger discussion, taking the idea of a podcamp of sorts - and including the whole room in on the discussions/questions. Come in and join the fun!

UMMMMMM first time we played it could be the answer to that question and when they played it at the end of the episode was the first time I heard it.

i'm just saying... i was about to hit the STOP button... because Brian was doing his whole end of episode wrap up speech... when i noticed that there was still a lot of time left on the podcast, so i decided to continue listening...

i'm just saying some people might make the mistake of hitting stop before hearing this hilarious and brilliant cover!!!

So this is my first visit to Heroes Con, but also my first real comic convention ever (I don't count taking my daughter to MTAC and Anime conventions in Atlanta where I just hung out while she went to the con). So I'm going back to listen to episode 14 (convention do's and don'ts) as well as the recent Heroes con episode. Any other forum link that I should read through (i'm not real experienced with forums, which is probably why i didn't find one myself) or any other advice. I won't get there til Friday around noon (could possibly make it by 8-9 pm Thursday, but still too late for the Feast of the Pants). I'm going to stay through Sunday. I have a sketch book and hope to get a few sketches. Also, since i've only come back to comics in the last 16 months or so, I have a HUGE list of things I want (largely thanks to the CGS guys) so some serious shopping is in line as well. All in all, i'm really excited about coming to Heroes Con. WHoo hoo!
