About 15 years ago we had a 3 foot snow. It was the greatest week ever!

Have to admit that these days it's pretty rare here too. Our oldest daughter is almost ten and I think it was only her second white Christmas.
As i type this there's an actual blizzard going on outside! But don't get me wrong we're loving it too.

aye, the snowfall for the upper Midwest goes up and down but this winter I feel there hasn't been too much of a let-up. In fact, snowstorms are hitting us right now. I really don't mind the snow, its the ice and sleet that make me go crazy

Wish we'd get some snow down here. Last time it snowed in San Antonio, TX was January 1985.

Peter, 20th Century Boys is amazing, but it takes a long time to get a release on the suspense. World's biggest tease! It's by the Monster Guy. Also make sure to check out Pluto. Pluto is only 8 volumes, so it's much easier to actually finish it. Volume 7 just came out.
The Monday episode shtick is good. I am one of those who skip a lot of episodes I have no interest in, but I listen to every Monday show, so definitely fill us in on any stuff we missed.

I'm more of a story guy, too, but there are a few artists who'll get me to check out something I would normally pass up: Darwyn Cooke, for one, who has led me to, among other things, the Witchblade Animated Special one-shot and an early aughts Marvel anthology in which he drew a Scott Lang Ant-Man story. Cliff Chiang is another, even though he hasn't done a whole lot, but I'll be picking up that Brave & the Bold he's drawing (starring Wonder Woman, Zatanna, and Batgirl) in a few months. And though he's dead now, I certainly followed Mike Wieringo all over the industry in his day.
And Murd, Batman did sort of team up with G.I. Robot in an issue of Brave and the Bold... the Batman: The Brave and the Bold tie-in comic, anyway. In issue #6, Batman teams up with Kid Eternity to fight General Immortus, and over the course of the story, the Kid calls upon the help of Vigilante (the cowboy one), Shining Knight, the Viking Prince, and good ol' J.A.K.E. the G.I. Robot. It's a very fun story, one of the best of the series so far.

I figured that if you didn't already have it, you'd definitely need it.
On a related note, G.I. Robot is this week's Comic Twart subject!

I love packs/sets
I bought the first part of 52 for 0.50 each
I bought the entire Trinity for 0.50 each
I bought the first part of Incredible Hercules, etc etc.
makes total sense for the retailer to sell it at cost or close to cost... why keep this in your inventory?!?!

This is why you need to convince the publishers to send you guys free issues, so you can at least afford to review and talk about everything!!!
If that's unrealistic, then maybe you guys can split up each section of the universe and cover each section...
but that would just take the magic out of everything... wouldn't it? =)
