Okay... so I will put my money where my mouth is...
This is probably not a lot of moolah in the grand scheme of things, but...

I will match dollar for dollar all donations from today 2/4/2010 until next Friday 2/12/2010 up to $100.

So if you sign up for a $2 monthly subscription. I will add $2 to my one time donation.
If you sign up for $5 subby, I will add $5 to my one time donation.
If you do a one time donation, I will match it.
Up to a total one time donation of $100.

Like I said... this might not seem like a lot of money, but times are tough...

I will have to ask one of the Geeks to let me know what the official totals are after 2/12/2010. I hope they don't mind me doing this...

I've been listening to a lot of NPR... and public radio stations always have seasonal pledge drives and I think we should do the same thing for CGS.

I have no affiliation with the CGS crew and I have no idea what the finances of the show are.

All I know is that CGS provides me with at least an hour of entertainment a day and it provides all us with a sense of community.

And I think it is our responsibility as listeners and fans to support CGS if we want them to continue doing what they are doing and imagine the improvements the CGS crew can implement if they had more funds!!!

So I encourage everyone to donate something to CGS in the next 7 days!

I am currently a $2 per month subscriber and I will be upgrading to $5 per month. I just need to figure out how to do that.

So please donate!!! And maybe if the CGS guys see a big donation spike in the next few days... I might just be inclined to match the amount raised! But don't hold me to it, if it's a huge number... =)

Great idea! I can certainly say that I don't know how I'd get through the work day without listening to the guys. Glad to make the commitment to return the favor. Wish I could do more, but I'm sure I'll up my donation in the future.

I need to know what day of the month the Dontation gets taken from Paypal. I have very tight finances and I have to keep all transactions recorded so I don't get overdraft fees.
