And they needed to mine the planet for that material they needed and nuking the tree would make it difficult with the fallout.

Ballads & Sagas - It's too bad this book couldn't find its audience. It was beautiful, but anything Charles Vess draws is beautiful
Starchild - Jamie, nice call. This was one of my favorite books when Owen was publishing it - always top of the stack.
Good episode guys.
thanks,
chris

I couldn't disagree more.
Here, let me give you some examples of him phoning it in:
Come
The Gold Experience
Chaos and Disorder
2/3 of Emancipation
Crystal Ball
Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic
The Rainbow Children

I won't argue that there's plenty of other examples of him phoning it in, but that Batman soundtrack is just plain lazy compared to his prime.

Hmm... I think it's brilliant and far from lazy.

That site only measures domestic box office though, international box office is such a massive component of so many films today (Avatar included) that it is largely comparing apples to oranges.
EDIT: They do also have a worldwide box office table: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/alltime/world/ but it's not adjusted for inflation for obvious reasons.

I'm not the biggest fan of the purple dwarf (or as he was known back in the day in Creem magazine, "Disco's Rude Boy.)
I have multiple versions of the 60s theme on my iPod, including the original and covers by The Who and The Jam.
The song is agelessly cool, whether done as surfer twang or power pop. Can't say the same for the Minnesota midget.
Of course, Danny Elfman's Batman theme buries 'em all.

Wait - The Who covered the 60's Batman TV Theme? Holy crap I gotta track that down!
OK - I just tracked The Who version down. Not all that impressed.

But the mere fact that they covered the song was good enough for me!
