Let's get this ball rollin'!

Green Lantern Corps #43 - I've had the cover image of this issue as my desktop background for the past month, because I was looking forward to it THAT much. Sure enough, this issue delivers with Guy Gardner going on a rage-spree, killing the baddies left and right. My only gripe (which is very slight) is the quick return of Kyle. I wouldn't mind seeing him come back in a few more issues.

Captain America: Reborn #5 - Lots of fighting happening in this issue, with some hot Captain America on Captain America action. But I just feel kind of malaise with this series, since everyone now knows how it ends. It was obvious with the title of the series alone, but it's just so far behind with still one issue left that you have to ask yourself; what's the point of buying that last issue?

Amazing Spider-Man #615 - Pretty mediocre issue in my opinion. You have Spidey versus Sandman, but it seems Sandy has a few new tricks up his sleeves; such as duplication. It'll probably suck me in again next issue.

Dark Avengers #12 - So the Sentry is powerful enough to take-down Molecule Man, but Norman and his team STILL can't defeat the New Avengers?! Puh-leaze.

Batman #694 - 'meh'.

Daredevil #503 - Beautiful Esad Ribic cover first and foremost, followed by an entertaining look at Matt going after the dirty NYC cops. Meanwhile, cool to see Kingpin get in between Owlie and Osborn, and slowly start to rise to the top again.

Incorruptible #1 - First off, I'm very happy to see this new series set in the same universe as Irredeemable is. It looks to be a entertaining look at the other side of the coin, with a big baddie wanting to do good in a time when the people need a new hero. Definitely has potential since Mark Waid is currently on a hot-streak.

Justice League of America #40 - The thing I really liked about this issue was the Dr. Light fight. Surprisingly, this issue wasn't bad like I predicted it would be.

Batman: Streets of Gotham #7 - Very, VERY creepy view of things to come this issue. Zsaz is back and brutal than ever, and things look to be a little more difficult for the dynamic duo this arc.

Supergirl #48 - Silver Banshee versus Supergirl. Hmmm.

Mighty Avengers #32 - It was only a matter of time before Dark and Mighty fought. Turns out, they have to work together before fighting each other. Let the hilarity ensue!

Astonishing X-Men #33 - With all the other events currently going on in the X-Universe, this title feels the most out of place / behind. Slowly starting to drop this series.

Batman 80 Page Giant - Some of the stories were fun, but I wasn't blown away by any of them, and especially at the price they're asking for. Was nice to see some Rocha & Finney art on the Catwoman story. Meow!

Doctor Voodoo: Avenger of the Supernatural #3 - I just don't care all that much for the character. If anything, it makes me miss Strange as the Sorcerer Supreme more and more.

Ultimate Comics: Armor Wars #3 - I'm getting slightly confused with all the different Iron Man suits in this issue, and where everyone is getting them from. There was action galore, I'm just getting a tad bit overstimulated to process it all at once.

X-Force #22 - Fun stuff, I'm really enjoying this Necrosha event. I love the fact that X-Force gets to participate in all these great events.

Realm of Kings: Inhumans #2 - So the unofficial crossover with the Mighty Avengers wraps in the issue, and we look towards the future; the return of Blackbolt? We can only hope.

Fables #91 - So I was totally thrilled to see Bufkin go toe-to-toe and defeat the almighty Baba Yaga! That it one badass flying monkey who finally got his turn in the spotlight.

Power Girl #7 - Issue after issue, this series is becoming more and more fun. Amanda Conner's art is just fantastic in this, and the story is just fun, pure and simple.

Cable #21 - So Hope is all grown-up (and a hot redhead of course), and back on planet Earth with both Cable AND Bishop (again). I'm starting to really get tired of Bishop and his constant fucking-up when he's THIS CLOSE to finishing his mission. Just kill him already and get it over with.

Superman / Batman #67 - As usual, gorgeous Scott Kolins art this issue. Fun story, too! Manbat, Solomon Grundy, and Bizarro all fighting, and the fans win because of it.

Ex Machina #47 - Cool glimpse into the alternate dimension, with the alternate Mitchel Hundred. And I can only imagine what he's going to do when he figures out what happened to his mommy.

Brave and the Bold #30 - Interesting choice of Doctor Fate and Green Lantern, but despite that match-up I felt like it was still a boring issue.

Thunderbolts #139 - Great versus fight between Agents of Atlas and the Thunderbolts. The AoA have been growing on me this past year, so I was thrilled to see Jeff Parker writing this arc. Great action, story, art, what more could you want?

Vengeance of Moon Knight #4 - Moon Knight just feels like the more intense Batman on the Marvel Universe. There's nothing wrong with that.

The Outsiders #25 - Pretty brutal Blackest Night tie-in, and while I loathe Terra and Geoforce, I still enjoyed the majority of this issue.

Dark Wolverine #81 - Okay, we get it, he's mysterious and no one can predict what he's going to do. Lets get back to the badass son of Wolverine who took out the motherfuckin' Punisher!

Hulk #18 - Never cared for Leonard Samson, just like I never cared for this entire series with Loeb's writing.

Hellblazer #262 - The art has been fantastic, and I'm totally digging the story taking place in India. Can't wait to see who the big reveal is!

Deadpool: Merc With A Mouth #6 - So with the whole Zombie Deadpool Head story almost over with, it seems that we'll be meeting more Deadpools next issue. If I'm not digging these next few issues, I will be dropping it. I feel that the Deadpool market has been completely flooded these past few months.

Marvelous Land of Oz #2 - I loved the interaction between Pumpkinhead Jack and Scarecrow. Lotta laugh out loud moments for me in this issue, along with Skottie Young's gorgeous art. Grade A fun this series is!

Amazing Spider-Man Presents: Anti-Venom #3 - Punisher should have killed him when he had the chance. Hell, he should have killed me so I wouldn't have to read this miniseries!

Tiny Titans #23 - Bat Bunnies? Totally cute.

Batman Confidential #39 - Wasn't a fan of this Blackhawks arc.

Air #16 - Nice little chat between Zayn and Amelia, followed by a sweet reunion between Zayn and Blythe. The art on this series has just been amazing, and you should be kicking yourself if you haven't been reading along.

Black Panther #11 - It was cool to see Black Panther try and go toe-to-toe with Namor, but ultimately the Fantastic Four break-up the fight just in time before Namor finishes her off. Apparently, Doom is up to no good. GASP! Who didn't see that coming?

Chimichanga #1 - Absolutely gorgeous first issue of a new ongoing by Eric Powell! I love his art and story in this, and can't wait to see what the next issue holds. Who knew a bearded little girl could be so cute?

Doctor Who #6 - Great finale to this very entertaining and Doctor Who-ian arc! I could see this (and would like to see this) story as an episode on the series!

World of Warcraft Special #1 - Just an introduction issue. Action will hopefully happen next issue.

Project Superpowers 2 #5 - Too...Many...Heroes...

Amazing Spider-man #615 - I actually enjoyed this quite a bit. I love Spidey as the detective. The only thing I love more is Spidey as the night-time, nocturnal detective. But hey, I got half of that. Anyway, I'm not quite sold on Sandman going through all that effort for the little girl, but that's something Van Lente may be able to do in the next issue. It wasn't amazing, but I'm still basking in the goodness of Spidey that's been introduced since the 24/7 story arc.

Fables #91 - Great, but I think too many things were covered. For being a final issue to an arc, it opened more questions than it closed. With the story diverting for the next couple of months, it'll be a while until we get some answers, but holy crap am I excited for what Rose is going to be facing.

Dark Avengers #12 - Eh, it was alright. There were some good parts, but Hand being stripped down to her panties? Come on. I still haven't decided one way or the other on the Sentry's newly discovered powers. It's going to be up to Bendis to convince me in Siege.

Incorruptible #1 - Nothing really exciting going on here, but it was cool to get a glimpse of why Max is going straight all of a sudden. If Irredeemable showed me anything, it's that Waid can make a great story if you give him enough time. I have no doubt this series will be great.

Daytripper #1 - What a great issue. It's nice to have a slow, reflective comic for a change of pace in my pull. The last page was done really well. I'll be back for more.

Air #16 - It's getting hard to keep track of what Zayn's been doing, but now that his story is (hopefully) merging back with Blythe's, things will be less confusing. I could always go back and read the issues over again, but...so many trades to read.

Batman #694 - Yeah, I'm definitely confused. I mean, I understand some of it, but I think there's too much going on. Maybe I'm a simple man. I do like how Daniel is treating Dick as Batman, although the last page was out of place.

Captain America Reborn #5 - Holy crap I really don't care anymore. I didn't think this was possible, but somehow Marvel has managed to make me not care about the story of Steve coming back. Sure, the extension and spoilers in other books hasn't helped, but even the story is pretty meh. I'm debating whether I should bother with the last issue since I'll have my questions answered in Who Will Wield The Shield this week.

Still need to read Doctor Who and Mighty Avengers.

You're still reading Project Superpowers? My sympathies. I dropped it at #1 in the second volume.
