Let's get this ball rollin'!

Blackest Night #5 - All the set-up that's been happening these past issues is finally over with, and the real action is abundant in this issue. The return of Bruce Wayne for two seconds was cool, but then to turn all revived heroes into Black Lanterns?! Holy shit! Can't wait to see how the next ones start!

Green Lantern #48 - Nice to see the Rainbow Coalition finally coming together for good in this issue. A few scenes with Larfleeze were so-so to me, but it was an enjoyable issue nonetheless.

Detective Comics #859 - The great thing about this series has always been the art. The story is great, but I'm sorry, the art is why I'm picking this up. The one scene where the past and present mix together was gorgeous. I demand this be collected as an Absolute edition when it's all done.

Superman: Secret Origin #3 - So while I wasn't much of a fan of the first two issues, this one really blew me away! The art really works with this issue because Clark's at the appropriate age to look like Christopher Reeve. Classic scenes mixed with a Johns twist, making this series great for old and new readers alike.

New Avengers #59 - Stuff actually happens this issue!!! I'm a big fan of the classic villain plan being used by the team of heroes (follow the right hand, don't see the left make it's move). Also enjoyable to see Luke Cage's entire friends-list show up to help out. HOWEVER, it doesn't look like he's out of the woods yet.

Fantastic Four #573 - This has to be my least favorite issue of Hickman's run so far, but that doesn't mean it's bad. It had its moments, but I just wasn't a fan of that Millar / Hitch storyline. But Hickman's a nice enough guy to make it work.

Amazing Spider-Man #613 - Cool to see Electro evolve into pure electricity, and the cool fights with Spidey humor continue.

Invincible Iron Man #20 - As interesting as it'd be to see Tony die, with the second movie coming out next year, their best bet would be to play it safe and keep him alive.

Ultimate Comics: Avengers #4 - This new team by Tony's bro is quite kick-ass! After this is all said and done, I wouldn't mind seeing them get their own series.

Justice League of America #39 - Dr. Light on Dr. Light action in this issue, and that's pretty much the only highlight in my opinion.

Uncanny X-Men #517 - Awesome action against the predators, only I just can't stand Land's art. It's killing me slowly.

Criminal: The Sinners #2 - This latest volume continues to keep me hooked as I'm dragged down the filthy, pulpy rabbit hole. Great things are in motion, and there's no turning back now!

Secret Warriors #10 - It was an 'okay' issue, I personally am not a fan of Marvel Mythology regarding Ares & Hercules.

Justice League: Cry For Justice #5 - Okay, $5 says they are able to reattach the arm.

Image United #1 - While I'm not familiar with all the characters, it felt like such a fun first issue, especially with all the different art styles combined with Kirkman's story. This even has caught my attention.

Guardians of the Galaxy #20 - Sad realizations happen in this issue, followed by the classic action GotG is known for bringing.

Thor: Giant-Size Finale #1 - Pick of the Week, hands down. I've been a fan of the JMS relaunch since issue 1, and I personally thought this was a fitting end to his run.

Justice Society of America #33 - Bleh.

Gotham City Sirens #6 - This was a fun little arc involving the sibling rivalry of sorts between Harley and Gaggy. As long as Paul Dini is the writer, I'll continue to pick this series up.

Worlds Finest #2 - Cool covers, not-so-cool story.

Immortal Weapons #5 - This issue helped this miniseries end on a high note, lead by David Lapham of all people! The Prince of Orphans is such a cool character, that I'd love to see some more of his adventures in the future.

Arkham Reborn #2 - Wasn't as strong as the first issue, but a jailbreak is always a fun story to play with.

Teen Titans #77 - I don't think the Blackest Night issues are working all that well for this series.

Northlanders #22 - Very powerful issues, involving a mother doing whatever she can to insure she and her daughter survive in a man's world. Not only is she fighting to keep the honor of the family name, but she's combating the cold AND the plague at the same time. The chick is tough!

Avengers: The Initiative #30 - 'meh'

Dark Avengers: Ares #2 - 'meh'

Wonder Woman #38 - Ooooh shit! Things just got intense!

The Goon #33 - Very cool and fun to see an entire issue with no dialogue. And that cover still makes me laugh every time I look at it.

Die Hard: Year One #3 - Ah so this issue shows us why the title has "Die Hard" in it; He's trapped on a boat with the bad guys, and it's up to him to stop them.

Madame Xanadu #17 - Not only does it have a cool cover, but the story in this arc has just been creepily fantastic!

Creepy Comics #2 - Some of the stories are okay, but I would suggest lowering the price a little.
