Let's get this ball rollin'!

Batman and Robin #4 - Although Quitely's no longer the artist on the series, I'm liking what Tan is bringing to the table. The badass duo of Red Hood and Scarlet is a nice compliment to Batman and Robin. When the two teams go at it next issue, I'm expecting nothing but pure joy. As for if it really is Jason under the hood or not, only time will tell. Knowing Morrsion, it could go two ways; obviously is Jason, or a completely new character we've never seen before. I'm putting my money on Jason though. LET THE PUNISHMENT FIT THE CRIME!

Blackest Night #3 - Like the Harry Potter books, this series keeps getting better and better after each issue. So much great stuff happening in this issue, from the Indigo Lanterns joining the fray, to the battle of Firestorms. And a very cool revelation of needing all the different colors working together in order to defeat the Black Lanterns. Now getting them all to put aside their differences to accomplish this? Good luck! Cool to see the return of Alexander Luthor, Dr. Light, and Psycho Pirate!

Captain America: Reborn #3 - While I am enjoying seeing Cap jump around to different events in the Marvel U, it's Hitch's art that is really keeping me on the book. Namor, Red Skull, all look gorgeous. I hope they can make a musical out of this series after it's done; Captain America: Let's Do The Time Warp Again! (Starring Tim Curry as Captain America)

Amazing Spider-Man #605 - A day in the life of Mary Jane, and Peter striking-out when it comes to dating. Not a whole lot of 'win' this issue, so I'll have to wait for the steamy return of Black Cat!

Batman: Streets of Gotham #4 - Cool to see the man who sells the hideouts to the villains of Gotham in this issue. And this new Mr. Zsasz? Creepy! Nothing pleasant can come from setting up a base in an abandoned slaughterhouse. At least the Broker is trustworthy, and won't spill any of his client's secrets, even to the Dark Knight. Business is business, Bats! Another entertaining issue by Mr. Dini.

Invincible Iron Man #18 - Very cool twist in this issue that I did not see coming! Looks like Osborn shouldn't be counting all of his chickens before they hatch! This remains a killer series for fans of the character and movie alike!

Dark Reign: The List - Daredevil One-Shot - I remember seeing the preview for this issue in the back of the Daredevil #500 issue, and it didn't color me impressed. After actually reading this issue in it's entirety, I loved it. Anytime you have a good Daredevil vs Bullseye story, you know you'll be getting the bang for your buck. I'm also really liking the new devil costumes The Hand are sporting. Tons of great stuff in this issue, making me feel very comfortable of the future of Daredevil.

Action Comics #881 - Can Supergirl really afford to be fighting her allies all over the globe in this anti-Kryptonian climate? I think not. Take a chill-pill girl! Or at least fight in a vat of jello or something.

Batgirl #2 - C'mon DC, just bring back Babs and ditch Spoiler.

The Walking Dead #65 - Sooo enjoyable to finally see the tables turn in Rick & Co's favor! Also very promising to read from Kirkman in the back of the issue that he can keep this series going for another couple of decades!

Mighty Avengers #29 - Disliking the Inhumans story, but I found myself almost enjoying the main story with the fight against the Scarlett Witch. It would have won me over completely if they did in fact discover it was Loki behind the disguise. So close!

Ultimate Comics: Armor Wars #1 - Ellis is scribing this series?! No wonder it was so amazing! Very enjoyable to see Tony's side of what's happening in the Ultimate U, with everything from hot babes to new high-tech enemies. Ellis for Supreme World Overlord!

Thor Annual #1 - If you're a fan of Thor kicking ass and taking names, then I highly recommend you pick-up this annual. It's filled with Thor fighting foes throughout! Very enjoyable.

X-Men Legacy Annual #1 - While I haven't been reading the Legacy series, I really had a fun time with this annual mainly because of Acuna's art (swoons). And if we'll be seeing more of Rogue and Gambit in the Uncanny title, then sign me up! Fun stuff all around.

Punisher #9 - Action-packed as usual, but not the strongest Punisher title out this week. Totally fucked-up beginning and end though!

Fables #88 - Cool to see that Frau's magic is still strong as it ever was, and now she's pretty much Xena: Warrior Princess meets Harry Potter. Beautiful art this issue, and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Dark Wolverine #78 - Daken isn't on anyone's side but his own. And I like that.

Vengeance of Moon Knight #1 - This was the series of the week that surprised me the most. When I think of Moon Knight, I think of the previous volume of the series that wasn't enjoyable at all and made me loathe the character. This new reincarnation of the series however, has blown me away. Action, beautiful art, and a story that doesn't suck, it's all in this first issue. Helluva way to relaunch a series, and I hope it continues to kick this much ass in the future.

Deadpool: Merc With A Mouth #3 - I'm still kind of on the fence with this series. I'm enjoying the main series written by Way a lot more, and this series feels like, I don't know, kinda re-using old material? Even the Deadpool mini-series have made me laugh out loud, but this series hasn't yet. I'll give it a few more issues before I decide whether or not to drop it.

JSA vs Kobra #4 - Wait, where's Captain Marvel during the fight at the Rock of Eternity?!

Marvel Zombies: The Return #3 - I don't know what bothered me more, the art or the story.

The Sword #19 - Pick of the Week, hands-down. I've been so invested in this series since the first issue, so it makes me a little sad to know that it's only a few issues away from ending for good. The Luna Brothers just constantly knock it out of the park with both story and art, and the new twists we learn in this issue makes the upcoming conclusion so much more juicy and delicious! Dara is going to have one helluva fight on her hands next issue!

Amazing Spider-Man Presents: Anti-Venom #1 - I wasn't a fan of the character in the Amazing Spider-Man arc, so the fact that he's getting his own miniseries guest-starring the Punisher isn't getting me excited. I know it's too much to hope for, but I wish that Frank really did kill him at the end.

The Outsiders #22 - Interesting story involving Clayface, but this issue wasn't all that spectacular.

Green Arrow / Black Canary #24 - Pros; return of Speedy. Cons; story, art-change mid-issue. Perhaps they'd have more success with this title if it only starred Green Arrow.

M.O.D.O.K. Reign Delay - Oh man, what a fantastically funny one-shot! I don't even like MODOK all that much, but I could not stop laughing when I was reading this! Everything from him setting up his HQ at his parents house, to getting a swirly with that gigantic head of his! I really hope more stories like this emerge in the future, because I'm totally a fan of it!

Beasts of Burden #1 - I guess there's been another series before this one, but I'm not so sure I like it. I love the art, I'm just not a fan of the talking pets.

Punisher: Noir #2 - Crazy twist at the end! I did not see that coming at all. Beautiful Tim Bradstreet cover, and tons of familiar faces in this issue. Definitely one of the stronger Noir titles.

Air #13 - I'm liking the story, I'm liking the art, if you're not picking up this series, you're doing yourself a HUGE disservice. Just spectacular stuff, and I can't praise it enough.

28 Days Later #2 - Most chilling scene in this issue; the camera flash down into the elevator. Holy shit was that spooky!

Atomic Robo: Shadow From Beyond Time #5 - Another exciting Atomic Robo miniseries wraps up, and leaves me wanting more! Damn you, Red 5 comics!

Executive Assistant Iris #3 - Why aren't more people reading this series?! This is truly some really great stuff! And to think Aspen Comics is more than just hot babes in swimsuits!
