I am new to the forums and was trying to find some posting about who is going to the con this year. I own a comic store but due to other obligations with the local Renaissance Festival, I will only be able to go on Friday. Who else is going?? Love to meet more CGS listeners at the con.

Unfortunately, that same weekend is Rock The Block, our local public radio station's fundraiser and a huge 400 person catering for us in addition to catering their 100 person VIP Lounge party (this was the event that kept me from SuperShow last time), and the Derby Demons (almost half my staff are DerbyGirls)have a match AND we have a Hungarian musician performing @ Gypsy all weekend in two sold out shows.

If I cancel Brunch on Sunday I can come out to the con. Otherwise I'll come by for the afterhours party. Pants' room right?

Aw, yeah. Here we go! I'll be getting in on Thursday afternoon. Will be leaving Sunday night.

Lots of guests this year!!

Any suggestions for a gathering/dinner/bar scene? Lots of cool places in Monroeville, the Waterfront, and downtown.

What do yunz think?

im going friday and saturday, gotta be back sunday to watch my Browns kick off their miserable season!

i go to this show every year, and it is always a blast.

Alright, folks. I talked to Jim and Shawn. Let's set a tentative food schedule. If yunz want to eat on Thursday, let us know in this thread. I am sure we can put something together.

Let's go to Mad Mex (Miracle Mile) on Friday and Primanti Bros. (Across from the con) on Saturday. I'll print up directions and drop them off at the CGS booth. I'll toss my number on 'em in case anyone gets lost or needs a ride to and from the convention.

Any additions, deletions, etc.?
