Fun episode, guys. I, too, have tired of the hunt for DCUC as of late and resorted to buying series 8 (sans 1 variant) from conerstorecomics.com. It was only because of the reasonable price that I caved. Also, heard a report that the KB Toys exclusives from series 4 (Unmasked Batman Beyond and Sonic Arm Cyborg) were seen in Wal Mart. Can anyone confirm this?

I haven't seen this but not all the Wal-marts around me and Pants carry them. I will ask around and keep my eyes peeled.

"My store got in case "E" for DCUC last night. Didn't take complete inventory of what was on the pegs before so I can't say completely what was in this "new" case. I know that there was at least one Flash, one Kid Flash and one Blue Beetle. The notable additions to the pegs were 2 unmasked Batman Beyonds and two Sonic Arm Cyborgs. How many of those things did they make anyway?... I'm starting to think that the "exclusive" variants may end up more plentiful than the "normal" versions..."

I was grabbed by Jamie going through some of his childhood toys. As a kid of the '70s, it brought back some thoughts of toys I haven't thought of in a while. I, too, had the G.I. Joe with "lifelike hair and kung-fu grip," along with the helicopter. I wouldn't mind having those back again . . .
Thanks for including this on the regular CGS feed - I never would have tried it otherwise.
My wife has been hooked by finding Justice League member figures, which has been good for me! We just got our first lead cast figure from the Super Hero Collection coming out in our DCBS shipment yesterday - Wonder Woman. Anyone else getting these?

re: Jamie D and the "real" GI Joes, Six Million Dollar Man, etc.-I remember having a lot of the toys you mentioned (are we the same age you old pimp you?) and also the GIJoe Adventure Team that featured cool adventures with accessories. And a Steve Austin GIJoe ripoff called Atomic Man with a seethrough atomic arm and leg. I did not have Oscar Goldman but I did have the evil Maskatron with the faceplates you could interchange to have him look like Steve Austin or Oscar Goldman although I always prefered the "evil robot" look of no face plate at all.
re: the DCU figs. I am still collecting the JLU figs as some of the cooler variants in the singles are starting to come out mixed with the Crisis figs but the 6" DCU figs are almost impossible to find complete sets of. I picked up the gold Captain Atom because I thought it looked cool, the Etrigan fig and the Artemis version of WW but thats pretty much it. I would love to get some of the build-a-figures like I did with Marvel Legends but around here they are hard to find complete waves of. I have shifted that toy money to my new addiction: Mighty Muggs. Just got Mola Ram from Indiana Jones and Darth Vader last week.
