Hey y'all! This is Danielle Corsetto from Girls With Slingshots. After all these years I finally have a Geek Speak forum account!

I'll only be taking sketch requests BEFORE Heroes this year, so thanks for making this thread! I'm not opening them up to the public yet, but I love CGS a whole bunch, so I thought I'd let you guys have first dibs.

In light of the economy, I'm keeping my 2008 prices rather than raising them. So black-and-white sketches with greyscale will cost $40, while full-color will cost $80.

These prices are per character, unless you're asking for GWS characters (because really, I don't have to think when I draw my own characters!).

I'm working in 9x12" format, but will do larger if you need it! I'll most likely keep the live area close to the 9x12" size, however.

You can EMAIL ME at gwsmerch@gmail.com with "Heroes sketch" in the subject to reserve your sketch. Please include:

Your name
A description of your sketch (b&w/color and character, any other special instructions)
How you'd like to pay for it (PayPal, check/MO, or in person at the convention)

Am I missing anything? I'm pretty sure that's it... can't wait to see everyone this year!

EDIT: Oh yeah! The new editions of books one & two came in today. They look BEAUTIFUL! I'll be selling them for $20 apiece or $35 for both. Sketches and personalization are on the house.

Hi, this is Chad Cicconi

I will be at Heroes Con, at the PKD Media table.

As noted above, I'll be doing free sketch cards for anyone who purchases $10 or more of stuff from either me, or PKD Media.

In addition to the PKD media products Shawn identified above, I will also have copies of my 2008 sketchbook, and Baby Boomers #1 from OrangUtan Comics, both priced at $4.

Otherwise, I'm currently thinking my prices for sketches at the con will be:

-Sketch Card (normal size) - $5
-Sketch Card (larger card size) - $8
-9x12 Sketch on Bristol - single character, pencils - $15
-9x12 Sketch on Bristol - inked and/or some grayscale - $20

I don't think I'll be able to take sketch requests in advance. I'm pretty crushed right now with work on Baby Boomers and Small Press Idol.

I am now accepting sketch pre-orders for Heroes Con. If you're going to the con, you can email me with a pre-order, which I will have finished and available to pick up at the con. I will be doing sketches at my table as well, but this helps me keep up with the demand I often receive and the sketches typically turn out better when I do them at home. The price structure is the same as 2008, with the addition of the new low low cost Head Sketch option:

Head sketch : 9x12, ink and grey tone= $10
Mini Commission: 9x12, ink and tone= $30 for the 1st character, $10 each additional.
Full Commission: 11x17, ink and tone= $100 1st character, $30 each additional.

You can pre-pay via PayPal to avoid carrying so much cash at the con, or you can pay me when you pick it up at the show. Just send me an email at dave@davedrawscomics.com
