I'm really happy that it was a slow week.
Air #7 - It was great to finally see a backstory on how Zayn came to be. Nice to see a different perspective on where he was coming from, etc. Another killer issue, and how about that first page of high-class praise? Cool stuff. And just $1? Hot damn!
Amazing Spider-Man #588 - Fun end to a great storyline! Win-Lose situation for some, Win-Win for others. Great personal struggles by the end for some, while others are meeting new family members for the first time (can't wait to see THAT team-up!).
Azrael: Death's Dark Knight #1 - I was a huge fan of O'Neil & Quesada's introduction of Azrael back in the 90's, so I picked-it up on a whim. For a crossover, it was pretty damn good. And the fact that DC didn't bump-up a dollar on the price-tag restores my faith in this event as a whole. Fun read.
Dark Avengers #3 - I really enjoyed this issue because not only was there vicious battles, but the conversation between Osborn and Sentry is what really did it for me. The two are so similar, that they're good sponsors for each other. My only complaint is Osborn looking like Tommy Lee Jones. Okay Marvel, we get it. You want him for the movies. Other than that minor gripe, I can't wait for the next issue!
G.I. Joe: Cobra #1 - FINALLY a comic dedicated to the terrorist organization that I've loved since my childhood! Great set-up in this issue, and I liked the pace of the story throughout. Not liking the $3.99 price-tag, but I understand because it's a licensed property, and that's all IDW seems to be doing nowadays. I can almost hear Cobra Commander shouting, and can't wait for the next issue.
Hellblazer #253 - I liked the idea Milligan was playing with, but it kinda lost me in this last issue of the arc. Made me scratch my chest throughout the entire arc though.
Invincible #60 - I liked the suddenness of it all. Sure it felt rushed, but I'd rather see this all happen in one issue rather then a 12-issue mini-series. And I loved all the cameos by the other Image characters. And lots of cool unexpected deaths as well! Bravo to both Kirkman and Ottley! This issue certainly was action-packed.
Night Of The Living Dead: New York - Thank God it was a one-shot. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. I was only shocked on how graphic the nudity was. Other than that, just your typical zombie book. Send a message to publishers that you're sick of the zombie titles and don't buy it!
Outsiders #16 - It's certainly different from Winnick's Outsiders. I do like the team dynamic, and it was fun seeing Metamorpho explain who was what part of Batman's cowl. I really liked the cover most of all though.
Potter's Field: Stone Cold #1 - Nice one-shot. I read a little of Potter's Field when it first came out, and think anyone can pick-up and enjoy this issue without any previous knowledge of the title. It was a good story, and as usual for Boom! Studios, a quality comic overall.
Punisher #3 - Can I just say that I'm loving Remender's run on the Punisher? Simply kick-ass stuff! It's a good time to be a Punisher fan with both this series and the MAX title out. Killer story, with the non-stop action that I love from this title.
Red Sonja #42 - Both "meh" and "eh?".
Spider-Man: Noir #4 - It was a nice ending to this brilliant series, but not the ending I was expecting I guess. Still, it was helluva lot better than the X-Men: Noir series!
Star Trek: Countdown #3 - I really want to love this series, but I'm sooo confused on when it takes place, and if it'll impact the movie. Any clarity on the timeline would be much appreciated.
Supergirl #39 - I'm starting to get intrigued of who Superwoman is. My guess; a total hottie.
Ultimate X-Men #100 - I'm sad to see the recent decline in quality in this title. It started towards the end of Kirkman's run, and it stopped being a must-read every week it came out. I guess you could say I'm glad if this title stops after this whole Ultimatum nonsense.
Uncanny X-Men #507 - Likes; Dodson art, X-Club, and finally addressing Angel's flipping abilities. Dislikes; everything else I guess. I would consider it 'okay' overall.
Wolverine #71 - Hands-down my pick of the week. I've been loving this epic story-line, and the set-up at the end had me SO excited! I just never want this story to end, and the cover for the next issue is insanely awesome!!!
Wolverine: Origins #34 - I liked the action, but when does it take place if it's dabbling in the Dark Reign storyline?
X-Force #13 - I disapprove of Scott putting his own needs first over the current mission. However, I'm pumped for the Cable crossover next issue!
What did YOU pick-up this week???

A few books to review. But here are the ones of the only 2 I've read so far.
SPIDER-MAN NOIR #4 (of 4) - Outstanding, remarkable, brilliant! A bloody marvel masterpiece!
Azrael: Death's Dark Knight #1 - Oo what a pleasant surprise!
Thanks DC for not knocking up the price as well! I enjoyed the story, its great to see a decent re-introduction of a character who has had missed potential in the past!
