So far, I haven't even gotten through a third of my books, and already I have six good picks! I have a feeling that I'll be needing to do another ".5" episode! Yikes! So far,
Daredevil #116 - Who would have thought that you could feel bad for the Kingpin? Brubaker's story and Aja's art just killed in this issue, and I'm now super psyched for this story arc. Return of the King(pin).
The Goon #32 - Happy 10th Anniversary, Eric Powell! Such a fun book from everything from the Rape Monkey, to the first concepts of The Goon in the back pages. The Goon has been a consistently funny book, and I wish it another 10 years! Also, the sooner it gets the Library Edition treatment, the sooner I'll let Scott Allie free from my basement.
Batman: Cacophany #3 - So it wasn't the best thing Kevin Smith has ever written, but I found it to be a really fun read. I really enjoyed the conversation between the Joker and Batman in the hospital, and was amused to see Batman do the good thing at the end of the day. He could have done the easy thing, but he's Batman and he does the American thing; work hard (Trying to use bits of Obama's speech there. Didn't really work).
Deadpool #8 - Glee!!! Can't wait til next issue!
Secret Six #7 - Whew! I was so happy to see Lawton live to fight another day! I knew he had good in his heart!!! Jam-packed issue of killer art and story, and I'm glad to see who got the card in the end.
Agents of Atlas #2 - Despite me never reading any of the old Agents of Atlas stuff, I think it's safe to say I'm having a fun time with issues 1 & 2 so far. The weapons demo was great! I look forward to future issues.
Dark Reign - Fantastic Four #1 - Hickman for the win! He obviously knows how to write this team, and all the characterizations were spot-on! Hopefully if this mini is successful, he can give the on-going title a spin when Millar and Hitch are done. Very fun read!
Bang! Tango #2 - Meh. I think this book at times it trying to prove it's a Vertigo book with all the unnecessary sex, drugs, and violence. Seems kinda forced to me. But then again, it is Joe Kelly, so I'll stay faithful to this title until the end.

Hey Cammy, about DARK REIGN FF and you wanting Hickman to stay on for the on-going after Millar leaves.
Well guess what........
So far I've read Deadpool #8 and that's it out of my stack.. reviews to come!!

Back To Brooklyn #4 - Lets just say this isn't the best Garth Ennis mini-series out there. Check out his Dynamite stuff for killer mini's. One issue left, and it isn't coming soon enough.
Black Panther #2 - Although I am intrigued to see how the new Black Panther will perform, I'm also hoping that T'Challa will get back in the driver's seat after recovery. It was also nice to see Storm show some strong leadership. Overall, it was a fun read.
Cable #12 - I found myself really enjoying McKelvie's art more than Olivetti's. The way he draws Hope is very cool in my opinion, and Olivetti's version is very different and unappealing to me. I'd like to see more McKelvie art in the future issues.
Echo #10 - Well at least things are moving along, and aren't going to be prolonged like SiP and span many many years. Or so I think just from this latest issue. For all I know, this could be an 89 issue series. Anyways, I love Moore's art, and the story is nice and interesting.
Gotham Gazette #1 - Meh. I don't really care what the other characters of Gotham are up to regarding Batman's disappearance. But hey! More McKelvie art!
Hellboy: The Wild Hunt #4 - It's a trap!!! Fun action-packed issue, and I love the feeling of picking-up a Hellboy issue and just know I'll have a smile on my face by the last page. It always delivers, and rarely disappoints.
House of Mystery #11 - Interesting revelations. Still a fun title, but sometimes it makes you really have to stop and think.
Mighty #2 - I really liked the bulk of the issue, but the last page kinda threw me off. Like it was almost out of character of Alpha One not to survey the civilians around him. Anyways, in Tomasi we trust.
New Avengers: Reunion #1 - I didn't like it. I thought there was a little too much unneeded testosterone between Bucky and Clint. And what's up with Mockingbird? Is she a Skrull, or working for them, or what? Secret Invasion is over people, lets move on to Dark Reign.
Solomon Grundy #1 - Just as I thought; Grundy is the Hulk of the DCU. There was even a "Grundy Smash!" word bubble. Love the art, hate the story.
Sub-Mariner: The Depths #5 - Killer, killer mini-series. I've been loving both the story and art since issue one, and it was a non-stop thrill-ride throughout. I recommend this mini-series to anyone who wants a creepy comic, starring a particularly creepy Namor. Five stars.
Superman: The World of Krypton #1 - I'm sorry, but Clark is the worst spy. It's way too obvious that he's just infiltrating New Krypton, only to find out what is really going on. However I did like the twist of which Guild he joined. Hopefully this event won't be a waste of time at the end of the day.
The Boys #28 - There's still one more issue left in this arc?! Dear god, just end it already!!! It's a horrible, horrible, arc! Move the fuck on!
War Of Kings #1 - Very fun and enjoyable issue! Sure I might not recognize half the characters, but it was just so great and action-packed! And I totally love Abnett & Lanning from both Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy, so I know it'll be a fun romp in space! Also, Ronan The Accuser? Total softie.
Ultimate Wolverine Vs Hulk #3 - Not all that worth the wait, but the reveal on the last page hooked-me for issue four.
Black Panther #2 - Although I am intrigued to see how the new Black Panther will perform, I'm also hoping that T'Challa will get back in the driver's seat after recovery. It was also nice to see Storm show some strong leadership. Overall, it was a fun read.
