Super Show Moves to March, 2010

After much deliberation, we have decided to move the Super Show from September, 2009 to March 27th & 28th, 2010.

It will coincide with Comic Geek Speak's 5 year anniversary. It will be bigger and better than anything we have ever done before.

At first I didn't want to have it moved, but it works out really well in the end. 1) It's for your 5-year anniversary, which I think will give it a chance to be bigger and better as people are willing to head to Reading for an occasion versus an annual get together [and believe me, heading to Reading is NOT an easy decision

], 2) For selfish reasons, it would've been hard for me to do Supershow in September when I'm planning on doing Windy City Comicon the that same month.

As much as I'll miss seeing everyone this year, that probably works out best for me right now. My place of work is very slow(we're in Elkhart where the Pres was yesterday), they've laid-off half of the employees here, so hopefully things will pick up enough by then that I'll be able to afford to go. Maybe even take off a little extra time and come to town early.

For as much as I was pissing and moaning about the move, this new date actually works better for me.

I guess I was complaining because there wouldn't be a show this year and I wouldn't get to hang around with the gang until 2010.
Selfish disappointment. I can wait, it's all good.

Just as long as it happens before the Mayan calendar runs out.

Very cool. I was looking for a Con to go to between this years NYCC and next years NYCC, and now Super Show is it. Looking forward to it.

Well, poop. I'm experiencing two emotions right now.

Disappointment and excitement.

I don't want to have to wait a whole 'nother year to see everyone again, and yet I'm very excited for the possibilities that abound with this announcement.

I'm in. I voted for keeping it this year, but I'll be there next year in any event. I guess I'll be going to Pittsburgh this year as well.
