So far;

Cable #10 - I've been really enjoying the past few issues, but this issue really bumped it up a notch! The fights (in both future and present), the ending I didn't see coming, it's all great! Plus Olivetti's art looks gorgeous as usual.

Gravel #7 - End of Book 1?! You mean I have to wait after this killer issue?! Very fun issue! Gravel seems to be the man with a plan, and a good plan at that.

Hellboy: The Wild Hunt #2 - Hey! I remember that goblin dude! A little continuity, in my Hellboy? It's more likely than you think. The bit with the giants was awesome! Plus the art has been top-notch.

Hexed #1 - I like it. It's something different, and I'm planning to go along for the rest of the ride (next three issues). Plus I was really drawn-in by all the pretty colors.

Invincible Iron Man #9 - It seems Stark is slowly becoming less and less human, and more machine with every issue. I'm not so sure I like it. Plus this issue was kinda 'meh' to me.

Punisher #1 - A Punisher book by Remender? Sign me up! The Punisher vs the Sentry reminded me of a Batman vs Superman type scenario. With that being said, I loved it! A lot of good Punisher has been surfacing these past few months, and I'm loving every different (and new) title! Especially when the Punisher is going after that very high-ranking target.

Rest #2 - I'm really digging the idea of a world without sleep. Just thinking about all the accomplishments that I personally could get done makes me want to sign-up for this sleepless program too! I could use all that extra time to read every comic book ever made.

The Boys #26 - I'm glad this current story-arc is almost over and done with, because I'm kinda tired of Hughie's current mission.

That's all for now, I'll write some more reviews tomorrow.

What did you enjoy???

These are the titles I read every month(25 to 30 a month). I want to save $$$ because I am w/o a LCS. So far 3 years I am a loyal DCBS customer w/ no problems w/ the service & they ship monthly shipments to my home. I read 5-7 issues a night & I usually finish my monthly stack in 10 days. It just saves me alot of hassle in the process also because I use Previews to see what is out there along w/ comics podcasts reviews of titles.

A few years ago I tried a site similar to DCBS, where all the comics were cheap, you just had them delivered monthly, and it was okay for a while but I started going crazy not being up to date with weekly podcasts and panicked.

However their sister site InStockTrades.com is one of my frequently visited sites. The deals there are phenomenal!

If I got really antsy I could get bimonthly shipping. But right now trying new things like Hellboy Library Eds/trades & BPRD trades,Walking Dead,etc... I have plenty to read every month. IST is the place where I get trades & other collected formats also w/ the extra $$$ from the holidays, b-days, etc. Netflix is the same way to see movies, because I see only one movie in the theater a year (Iron Man). Why because it is too far away (80 miles round trip) & gas was $$$ during the summer.

Detective Comics #852 - I'm tired of Hush, Hush, Hush (Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!)! I think it's too soon to return to him for another story, even if it's going to last only two issues. Nothing to see here, move along.

Faces Of Evil: Solomon Grundy - Wait, so Grundy is Bruce Banner now?? I had high hopes since Johns was writing it, but this issue just didn't do it for me. Sure Kollins' art was nice, but nothing about this issue really stood out to me and blew my mind.

Secret Six #5 - Okay, seriously, this is the third Faces Of Evil book I've read this week, and the common trait all three have is this; nothing exciting. What was exciting about this issue though was the bits with Bane, and the fights in the hotel. Plus the reveal at the end was pretty cool as well. So despite the Faces Of Evil tie-in, this book was fun.

Sandman: The Dream Hunters #3 - So far, this is my top pick this week. The story is okay this issue, but what really did it for me was Russell's art; it's sooo goddamn amazing and gorgeous!!! I spent a few minute each page just absorbing every little detail. Somebody pinch me!

Wolverine: Switchback - I pick-up and read these Wolverine one-shots because I have a good read most of the time, despite the $3.99 price tag. This issue was very enjoyable, and the second story with Juan Doe's art was an extra treat!

Cthulu Tales #10 -
It was okay. 'Meh', if anything.

Black Lightning: Year 1 #1 - KILL IT WITH FIRE!!! When were the fans demanding a Black Lightning Year 1 story? Oh, that's right; they weren't.

Marvel Zombies 3 #4 - There's a fourth volume on the horizon??? I would have hoped that Marvel saw the light, and realized they've milked this series for all it's worth. The Zombie udder is dry, Marvel. Let it rest in peace. It stopped being good when Kirkman left.

I still have a few more titles to read, so I'll report on those at the end of the day most likely.

Secret Six #5: As good as it always is, continuing a great story. Some of the Deadshot bits had me in fits of laughter. I felt really sorry for Bane when only Scadal voted to save him.. especially after reading past issues where he has been especially nice to her. Cute and touching.
The last page sickened me!!! Ewww DO NOT WANT! But that's the sign of good writing I guess.
This is an awesome series!

Marvel Zombies 3 #4: A good ending to an all round great series, I like how Van Lente replaced Kirkmans humour with seriousness.. I wasnt sure about it at first but it was what the series needed! This issue (like all of them) had some very gloriously epic fight scenes! Top notch hooks ups and characterization! Putting Morbius into this series was a real hit! smile.gif Ended on a real high note but I'm glad its over.

But Marvel Zombies 4... & so soon? Let me catch my breathe Marvel.. moving to quick here.
