Great episode guys.
I knew about Largo Winch from the television series http://www.tv.com/largo-winch/show/3299/summary.html Didn't see to many episode but it was interesting. You guys really made me look after the 2 books in English. I live in Europe, but sadly I don't speak french, and besides we don't even have comics.
I saw Immortel and I really loved it, the blend between cgi and real life actors was pretty cool. Never read the comics though.
Blueberry was horrible and not understandable for me.

On a side note. Speaking about french comic book movies, this one isn't a comic book movie but it has a great style, did you guys see Renaissance?

Thanks for this. It really sounds like an interesting comic and I will keep a lookout for it next time I am at the LCS. I was doing some more research on it and found this trailer for the movie which looks like a top notch production.

Great show Largo Winch sounds good. I saw the trailer its looks like a solid movie. With the Batman books we dont get to see much of Bruce Wayne in the Boardroom. I might have to check this book.

the 16th book of Largo Winch was out on 05 november ..

On this page you can watch a trailer (la bande annonce) and a 8 pages preview (lire un extrait) for both 15th and 16th books ...
if largo catched your interest, you'll find previews for all the other albums here (just check books names and then 'lire un extrait')
concerning the film, it has mainly good critics from press saying it's a good action movie ...

Awesome. I sure hope that Cinebook continues to publish these. I would love to be able to eventually have them all.

SOLD! Right, I'm going to have to get these now as they sound really intriguing. The trailer for the film looks pretty cool too. Wait... (after just doing a quick search on amazon for the books)... there's a computer game too? Thanks for bringing this series to my attention guys smile.gif

I'm definitely gonna check this one out!! I'm gonna watch the movie on theaters too but it isn't in any theater in the netherlands. Have to drive all the way to Belgium ( about an hour and a half, not really that long but still a minor annoyance)

Another great episode guys. After you guys told me about cinebook I picked up for the first two Largo Winch books. Great comics! Can't wait for the 3rd cinebook collection.

Now I just have to find someway to see the Largo Winch movie, that looks good.

Glad you enjoyed Sanctum Bryan and if you ever do translate the third volume send me a copy of your translation. I want to read the end of the story but am far to lazy to translate it but you've got that scary get up and go going on.

So glad you guys are doing this. My failed resolution last year was to read more European comics and it wasn't until October when I met the owner of Cinebook and bought Largo Winch from him that I started to fiulfill that resolution.

I loved it and was just planning to review it on the next episode of Geek Syndicate when I noticed it here. Really nice cast and it will inform my review on episode 106.

I also bought I.R.$ and Aldebaran at the same time.

Aldebaran is a great scifi serie from Leo (Brazilian artist arrived in France in 1981). a really great story, it's divided in 3 cycles (for the moment) ...
the first one is Aldebaran (5 books in france), the second one is Beltegeuse (5 books too) and the third one is Antares (1 book for the moment) ...
the second book of Antares cycle will be out soon ... The Official Site in French ... it seems cinebook is going for the whole serie ...
