Immortal Iron Fist #20 - Finally I got a good grasp on this creative team, and really enjoyed the story in this conclusion. It also has plenty of interesting possibilities in store for future issues. I am really looking forward to the Eighth City, though.
Punisher: X-Mas Special - Holy shit. I knew Aaron could write both Ghost Rider and Wolverine, but it never once crossed my mind to put him on The Punisher! Supreme move, Marvel! The guy tells an awesome Christmas tale, that would make Santa himself shit his pants in terror...if Santa was involved with the mob. Killer book from a killer writer!
Amazing Spider-Man #579 - I like how friend and foe have to help each other out in order to survive at the end of the day. Plus, it's the Shocker, who needs more screen time in the Spidey comic. Humor's there, action is too, and once again Waid makes me interested in this Brand New Day nonsense.
Hellboy: The Wild Hunt #1 - Hellboy hunting giants in England, only to be stabbed in the back and become the hunted? Very cool issue, with beautiful art by Duncan Fegredo. I'll definitely be sticking around for this Hellboy story!
Justice Society of America #21 - Finally! Some fighting happens! Speaking of fighting giants, shit goes down and I loved how one by one the Earth-2 versions of the JSA were being transformed into the Earth-22 versions! Very creepy, and I can't wait to see the action-packed conclusion next month! Good job, Johns & Ross.
Batman #682 - I was very, very pleasantry surprised with this issue. For once, I understood what was going on, and found my fancy tickled by the end of the last page. And to think I was only going to pick it up for the Alex Ross cover! Who knew an enjoyable story was included?
Haunted Tank #1 - What the fuck did I just read?! Complete waste of time, and the most ridiculous comic I've read this week. Save your money, and avoid it at all costs.
New Avengers #47 - The conclusion of Secret Invasion debuted with this issue, so you'd think this issue would be equally action-packed. I found it boring and disappointing. Highly.
Secret Invasion #8 - I was very content with the end of this issue. I wasn't let-down, and I wasn't overwhelmed with joy. However, I do think it was much better of an event than Civil War, so it'll be interesting what the aftermath holds. If Hawkeye is happy, then I'm happy.
X-Men: Noir #1 - I had high hopes, that came crashing down in a fiery wreck. Nothing really original here, it could easily be a Marvel Knights title, or whatever "Elseworlds" imprint Marvel has. I had a problem with both the story and art.

Picks for 12/4/08 - Possible Spoilers! Huzzah!!!

I love Aaron man i gotta get punisher x mas special
This is what i got and what i thought
immortal Iron fist #20:I enjoyed this issue great art by foreman, this book has been very consistent but if there was one thing Swierczynski could do better it would be to involve the other immortal weapons more rather them just tagging along for the ride.7/10
Secret invasion #8:I remember after finish reading issue 1 that S.I was going to be amazing but it just went flat.dont get me wrong it had a few good moments Yu's art was awesome, hawkeye shooting the queen through the cheek, nick fury's big gun etc. What i wanted was some major shocks like who was a skrull but there was not one major character who was.I guessed everyone else.In the end the whole thing left me frustrated until the last page 7/10
Wolverine manifest destiny#2:AMAZING everything Jason Aaron touches turns to gold and the art is awesome.wolverine gets his soul punched i mean how cool is that check it out best book of the week.9/10
Weapon x First Class#2:Very dissapointing i saw deadpool on the front cover which means i had to pick it up his story was short but funny. The main part was bad the only reason i gonna pick this up next month is because Gambit is in it.
4/10 deadpool bit 6/10
Hellyboy The Wild Hunt#1:Great first issue loved the bit with giant trophy heads this is gonna be fun. 7/10

Batman #682:
WHAT... THE... HELL?
Seriously, R.I.P made perfect sense to me, but this issue just lost me COMPLETELY.
It was all recap on Batman's legacy from day 1 from what I could tell... and it still didnt make sense
Im not even going to rate this book because Im so confused..
Good artwork though
Secret Invasion #8:
This was a great concluding issue, loads of drama in the first few pages which made the hairs on my arms stand up. I felt the way that all the replaced heroes were just on a ship was a little lazy, but hey, its good to have them back and everything normalish again.
Norman Osborn what are you up too you naughty little man.. tee-hee! Awesome!
I am so glad Stark got fired and his life is ruined, he has been a dick since Civil War IMO, so I am happy he got owned by The President and Osborn!
I KNEW EMMA FROST WAS EVIL!!!
THANK GOODNESS SECRET INVASION IS OVER.. dark reign will be a breathe of fresh air as long as no damn Skrulls pop up.

Hahaha! It's the exact opposite for me. While everyone was loving RIP, I was loathing it. Now a lot of people are hating this issue, and I'm loving it!

here are the rest of my reviews!
Justice Society of America #21:
This was totally awesome! As is every frikin issue! I love JSA! I love Geoff Johns and I am proud to be sitting on his band waggon!
This Gog story has finally gone somewhere! WOOP WOOP!!
This was awesome! Such huge changes here! Such drama and such spoilers!
What Gog showed Micheal and Alan really made me angry and want to kill Gog myself! Now if a comic can make you feel like that, then I can officially rock my socks off!
This was awesome, but I didnt like the way the art kept switching between Dale Eagleshame and that other guy who drew the Earth-2 stuff when Power-Girl had here story a few issues back. Just let Eaglesham do the whole damn comic, cos that other guys art sucks in my opinion! I seriously dont like it! I am not usually that stubbon, but I honestly just do not like his art. Eagelsham's art rocks!
8/10
The Punisher MAX X-Mas Special:
This was my Marvel comic of the week this week! It was better than Secret Invasion in my opinion! Jason Aaron is one (banned)ing badass writter and this guy nailed The Punisher!
It was written so darn well, it had everything a good Punisher story should have! Punisher MAX stories are so much better than Punisher WJ ones, because Frank hardly speaks, he just kills and somehow that works to a hugely awesome affect!
This was just so darn good, and it really gets you in the festive spirit! It has a great Christmas moral to the story as well and has lots of hidden bible references in the story as well, if you look past the gore, lol!
No, this was seriously great! So brilliantly written, I can honestly say, I didnt expect some of the things which happened in here to happen like they did, it was that crafty.
It also had the best cover of the week too! Bachalo woop!
9/10
Marvel Zombies 3 #3:
Hh.. I dunno, after reading this issue Im starting to not care about this series anymore, the first two issues were awesome, but this issue was so predictable and the beggining made very little sense up until the story went back to Machine Man.
Like the bit at the start with Wasp? Why? Where was Van Lente going with that? Pfft.. and when it went back to Machine Man, aside from good artwork it was just soooo predictable.
From the end of the last issue, ever since Machine Man said "you go ahead, I'll catch up soon!" you knew that he would get stuck in that dimension, and hey guys what? He does. Lame.
Good artwork all the way through though.
