I've heard of people starting a 30 movie in 30 days challenge. I figure mine would be a bit different.

Here are the rules:

-The Graphic novel/trade must be at least 40 pages.
-5 Graphic novel/trades you have never read
-5 Graphic novel/trades must be non-superhero comics.
-Post the list here

----The challenge will commence on October 8

I'm open to any other suggestions. So anyone interested in participating?

Well we'll definitely be doing at least 5 we haven't read before as we typically review 4 trades a week on the podcast.

I think 5 non-capes will be a killer for me...I'll give this some thought.

I figured half non cape stories would mix it up a bit and normal marvel/dc readers would hit the indy book rack.

I would suggest that all who participate write brief reviews of their list as they read them.

I probably read at least that many anyway in a month, so I'll just have to look at what's next in my "to read" pile.

Would OGN's count? For example, I just got Janes in Love from Minx this week. It's a digest sized ogn. What do you think?

It's over 200 pages digest size, that should translate just fine. Looking forward to your review. Good stuff according to amazon.

Same here, especially after winning big at FallCon and spending ALL of it in the dealer's room.

Yeah, doing the 31 Days of Halloween challenge for another site. One or more Halloween-related programs (movie, TV, documentary) each day of October. So, not a lot of time for trades. Good luck!

Is Queen and Country Def. Ed. Vol. 3 out? I've been waiting for that bad boy for awhile now.

Winning big? Was there a poker game or something?
