Bry, I ordered Scarlet Traces multiple times at my LCS and never got it. I'm a sucker for anything related to War of the Worlds.

I grabbed the three issues of The Possum down at the Super Show too. Talk about a funny book that's right in my wheel house.

Goddamn. I was going to talk that up last night, but we ran long.

What are the chances? shiftyeyes_anim.gif

Regarding the third question of Iron the Pants - check out episode 184 at about the 23:38 mark. This was our top 5 issues/storylines of our favorite characters. Flash #275 was my number 5 and my number 1 was the Return of Barry Allen storyline which culminated in issue #79. I now return you to your regulary scheduled talk back.

I'm glad to hear the copies of "U" is for United got there okay! I'm really happy with how they look, too.

The book is not yet available on IndyPlanet.com, but it will be. I have to make a few minor corrections before I place the DCBService.com order. Once I've placed that order, then I'll put the corrected version on Indyplanet.com. It'll probably be up there in a couple of weeks. I'll be sure to post and let everyone know.

Blair Kitchen is a mutual friend of Filthy McMonkey and I (it's a small world after all). I think I have a letter in one of the books, and I think Filthy had art published in one or two of the issues.

Filthy grabbed a box of goodies from Blair at the Fan Expo in Toronto, so he's the man to thank for putting it in your hands!

Glad you dug it, Blair's very talented, as well as being an all-around great guy!

His brother Mike has a really cool comic called Spy Guy as well.

If you see them at a convention, make sure to stop by their table!

I have to agree with the geeks. I purchased The Guns of Shadow Valley from Dave Wachter at the super show. I loved reading it and I'm eagerly awaiting some publisher picking it up.

It all comes back to 2000ad.

If you like Edgintons / D'Iraeli's steampunk...you really should try and get a hold of 'their Stickleback' series.
The artwork is beautiful and the writing immaculate.

Stickleback is a villain in the mold of Moriarty in Victorian london. Very steampunk look to it. They've already got two stories complete from the run in 2000ad. They should have a trade out soon.
