but i have to say, the barbie DC figures are a guilty pleasure of mine. the only one i have out on display is the first wonder woman (on a stand next to a custom, wonder woman my little pony!), the rest go in a plastic bin in the garage until i buy a bigger house.
i'd LOVE to hear an entire episode of the palisades muppet line. that way i can sit there and say "yep, have that... have that... have 2 of that..." ;-) but THAT'S the collection i wish i had the room to display.
also, it's the toy line that made me realize i was destined to be a horrible completist.

Wow, regarding the Infinite Heroes, I didn't know about the price difference between Toys R Us and Target. I saw these at Target and passed them up because they were $4.99. I would buy them if they were a bit cheaper since they're kind of small and not that detailed. But you brought up a good point. These look good for younger kids, so I might reconsider them for my son.
I had no idea about the Millenium Falcon, I saw it on line and it looks cool...out of my price range though, but still Awesome.
So when do we get to see the toy rooms, like we saw Matt's comic room?
"Yikes-a-hootie"....that's our lovable Pants!

Sorry about that.

I think we'll see Shane's room before you see mine. I'm a complete slob, so my room is atrocious and not fit to be seen by anyone at this point.

I am working on cleaning up my mess of a room at this point, I hope to have it in tip top shape soon.

Sorry about that.
That is terrible, I saw them in the US first in Pittsburgh around Christmas time 2007 at the Monroeville Mall for a decent prize. I have seen them at all kinds of cons this year, usually over priced for my taste but our local TRU has gotten some in. Certainly not a lot but I was able to pick up 1 or 2 I needed.
I have also ordered from WHONA.com at a pretty good price. Every now and then they have a sale or just good prices. Check it out.

1. The Alex Ross Justice & Kingdom Come lines (I love the new JSA figures coming soon).
2. The Simpsons line from Playmates (My office at BGSU is filled with them. Why no Maude Flanders?!)
3. Your picks for the worst toy lines/trends. (Too many Batmen in too many shades).
4. Characters who should not be action figures ( I can't I own a "Perry White" action figure).
Keep up the fine work.

1. The Alex Ross / Justice line needs a few minutes. That wave is ridiculous. I think the last official wave comes out on Tues/Weds of this week. DC Direct did not rule out additions to the set to be released in an Elseworlds-type set with randoms from other lines. (I still needs me a Riddler, boys!)
2. I know you guys touched on it but, JLU to the extreme. On another note, thanks to everyone on the boards for keeping up with that thread on here.
3. I really like the idea of creator-specific DC Direct talk...
-Perez Titans/Crisis
-Sale Long Halloween/Dark Victory
-Bolland/Batman
-Reis and Van Sciver/Green Lantern
Uh, I can't think of anything else right now. Head spinning from a good episode!

Thinking back to catalogs, I do not mind saying those were some of the best days ever! When I was younger we lived overseas so the only place we got American toys was on the American base and what they would do for Christmas is covert a secondary lawn/flowers are (a huge warehouse) into what they called 'Toy World" and for 6 years straight, Toy World is just what I looked forward to every read when they'd bring in all the new toys for Christmas shoppers. I know this isn't a Joe episode, but this where I first saw stuff (and nothing can replace the feeling of expectation and surpassing it in see things the first time, live, as a kid at a toy store) like the Crimson Twins, the Hyrodfoil, the Terror Dome, etc, etc - they just don't make toys like that anymore! The only 'preview' I'd ever get is via Sears Catalog (which as you know has some of the most sought after JOE exclusives - Red Hiss Tank etc) and I'd just remember for hours looking at the same JOE pages day dreaming how I was going to add to my army!
Those were the days.
Thanks for the show!

don't worry about not knowing Aussie shipping Shane, sometimes we get stuff first cause where close to china, other times it goes to the US then back to us and we get it months later if at all. Its one of the main reasons i like DC Direct i know when there in store.

The JLU Giganta from SDCC is available from the mattel collectors website.
Hoping you'll cover:
BTAS/STAS/JLU figs
Secret Wars/MSH/ Marvel Legends
DC Direct, esp. the artist specific stuff like Ross's Justice and Cooke's New Frontier
90s SpiderMan toy line
and maybe a show all about statues as I just acquired my first one!
perhaps POTF or the OTC Star Wars Collection
Keep making them and I'll keep listening!

The first two shows were based on super hero toy lines. Why not a change up a bit to a "Best of the 80's"! Come on....there were some great 80's toys....Joes, Transformers, Go-Bots, M.A.S.K. Star Wars, TMNT, the birth of Video Games...etc.
But that's just me being selfish because I'm a complete child of the 80's.
