Well, well, well the week is finally here. The week that The Dark Knight is out in theaters. The week were we finally get to see the greatest sequel to the greatest super-hero movie ever. The greatest performance of the Joker ever on screen and the theatrical origin of Harvey Dent into Two-Face. Today on the show we celebrate all of it with the collected editions of the two main villains of the film.

Also on the show I go over me new website redesign, me in the Detroit Free Press and a tease as to next weeks topic on Marvel Illustrated and my special guest Roy Thomas.

Please visit my site sponsors: In-Stock Trades, Forbidden Planet International (UK), and Library Binding Company.

Glad to see you're back! (I've been saying that a lot lately...what's up with July is it just a bad month for everyone?)

I don't know if it was mentioned (I was studying while listening), but Brubaker's Batman: The Man Who Laughs is a really good joker story as well. It's in HC now, but it'll be in softcover soon as well.

I'm glad to see that they've got an updated Joker's Greatest Stories collection, but there are two stories I would have loved see get a bit more recognition:

"Hazard's Choice" from Action Comics #719 is a wonderful Dave Michelinie story (it's amazing how many of his stories stick with me through the years) in wich the Joker poisons Lois and the only way for Superman to get the antidote is by killing the Joker. A bit of a dilemma to say the least. Batman guest stars.

"Always Leave 'em Laughing" is a nice 3-parter from the Huntress back-ups in Wonder Woman #281-#283. I know these have appeared in the Huntress TPB, but they should be included in a Joker collection as well.
