OK. Just finished listening. Great episode. One can just feel the love and giddy toy geekness flow out of the computer speakers.
I would strongly recommend that everyone check out the MegoMuseum. Full of Mego love and harmony. They also have forums dedicated to current toys, comics, horror movies, ect.
Regarding re-released Mego figures. Along with Star Trek, the Knights, Robin Hood, Pirates, & Monsters have been released by various small companies. I've also seen properties like The Brady Bunch done using Mego style bodies.
If Benjamin does make it back, I would love to hear his thoughts on the "other" Mego lines (Knigths, Robin Hood, Pirates). I'm also curious about his thoughts on Mego Customizing.

Great show guys! I'm excited and curious to hear you talk about some of the NON comic related toys. Can't wait to hear two grown men talking about My Little Ponies!

This is them after a battle.

This is my brother holding up Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman.

And here's me and my brother. He's holding Green Arrow.

Palitoy at the Mego Museum has given a link to Super City.
http://megomuseum.com/megolibrary/preserva.../supercity1.jpg
To get the entire article, once the new webpage is up simply change the number at the end of the file. For example, the number in the new page will be supercity1. To get the next page simply change it to supercity2. You'll do this all the way to page supercity28.
It's a bit awkward, but worth the effort.

That is just simply incredible. You all have no idea how crazy I felt all those years and no one ever remembered the plans at all.
Wonderful link, thanks so much!

I would love for the GI Joe episode to get served up again. I wasn't allowed the Joes as a kid as they didnt portray those injured from war. And that episode brought up all those yearnings for the toys I had as a kid.
