Funny. I just ordered The Other Side and Scapled vol 1 from IST on Wednesday. I am looking forward to getting them next week.

I can't wait to see what he's going to do on Ghost Rider And with hopeful Son of Satan in there I'm really eager for that!

That would be cool to see Son of Satan in Ghost Rider.

I get the Heroes Aren't Hard to Find e-newsletter and they're announcing that Jason Aaron has signed on to be at Heroes Con in June! Sweet!

I'm looking forward to Aaron on Wolverine. I heard his one shot was really good and I'm jumping back on Wolvey's monthly adventures to show my support. Plus scalped is awesome so as far as I'm concerned Aaron can do no wrong.

I just listened to episode 348 with Jason Aaron. I loved Homicide: Life on the Street. It is one of my all-time favorite shows. Bryan, You should really read the books by David Simon: Homicide: A Year in The Killing Streets and The Corner are two of the best non-fiction books I have ever read. With Homicide you get to see the basis for the show and The Corner is basically a Inner-City Soap Opera. It was a hug book but I was really bummed when it ended because I wanted to keep reading it. Both of them are just top-notch. If you like the Wire (who doesn't?) you will love these books.

Liked the interview, guys; I don't read Wolverine or Ghost Rider, but I really liked The Other Side and Scalped is one of my favourite comics going right now.

As far as David Simon goes, yeah, I love Homicide and The Wire. And although I haven't read The Corner, it was made into a really good miniseries on (naturally) HBO. That's worth checking out, too.

I thought that the Warren Ellis version of Hellstorm was the "batshit crazy" version.

I was already doubtful about picking up GR again when Marvel retconned him into an angel. Reverting Hellstorm back to Daimon "red booties" Hellstrom confirms my doubts.

AMEN!

Great to hear Jason Aaron on the show, and nice to hear his great taste in TV only further confirms why I've been ordering everything he writes ever since I read The Other Side.

I'm not sure what to expect on Ghost Rider, but I am looking forward to giving it a chance.

I never read the novel that Full Metal Jacket is based on, but kudos to Aaron's cousin that his writing informed what is basically the 'good half' of that film (which is to say, the first half, the boot camp stuff, before the very uneven half in Vietnam that sounds like it was more of Kubrick's invention)
