From G4:
http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/6899...ampaign=TheFeedLatinoreview.com reports that things are moving along nicely for the upcoming film adaptation of DC superhero Green Lantern and that actor Ryan Gosling (The Notebook) will indeed don the mantle of Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern. This, in the aftermath of recent rumors of the role being filled by Seth Green, Justin Long, and David Boreanaz.
Rehearsals for Green Lantern are said to begin this February.

No, no, no, and no. I think this is ABSOLUTELY the wrong choice. Call it the typical fanboy cry for "justice", but ever since having seen "Firefly", I gotta agree with many other fans, in that Nathan Fillon would make a PERFECT Hal Jordan for a "Green Lantern" movie.

Well, isn't this an interesting cast choice. I don't think I've seen any of his movies so I can't really say how much I agree or disagree but I think that the guy from Firefly looked more the part.

I think this guy is way wrong for the role. Call me crazy but I liked David Boreanaz. If he beefed up a little bit, he could pull it off.

David Boreanz is great and he'd probably be better than the other guy.
Nice pic Jon, part of your personal collection?
